About the TCS London Marathon

If you’re only ever going to do one marathon, make sure it’s the TCS London Marathon!

From the cheering crowds and thrilling atmosphere to the world-famous landmarks lining the 26.2-mile route from Greenwich to the Mall, it’s no surprise that this is one of the most famous races in the world.

Run the TCS London Marathon with Team Breakthrough T1D in 2027 and make every mile count by doing something amazing to help those living with type 1 diabetes.

In 2027, Breakthrough T1D will have around 150 runners taking part in the TCS London Marathon, helping us to reach our goal of a combined total of £460,000 to fund T1D research.

We’ll be reviewing applications and allocating places in June 2026. After this point, you can still apply, but you may be added to our waiting list.
