Volunteer Skills Bank

We’re looking for volunteers who want to make a difference — not by doing something new, but by doing what they already do best. Whether you’re a professional, a creative, a tech whiz, or just someone with valuable experience, your skills can help us save costs and direct more funding toward life-changing research into type 1 diabetes.

Do you have a skill that could help us or do you work for a company that can support us through pro bono work?

We’re a rapidly growing charity which means that we sometimes need to tap into the expertise of professions beyond our usual remit.

This could be anything from consultancy work, to a professional photographer capturing an event, or the loan of a company’s meeting room.

We have a skills bank which you can register your skills on, these could include:

  • Graphic design
  • Photography
  • Filmmaking
  • Photo and video editing
  • Youth sports coaching
  • Children’s entertainment
  • Public speaking

For more information, take a look at the volunteer role description. If you’ve got  skills you’d like to use to support us, please just get in touch at volunteering@breakthrought1d.org.uk
