About the event

A challenge event you can take on at your own pace. The South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge invites you to walk, jog or run a distance of your choice, along a signed route, with free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage.

Starting at basecamp in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle, the South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge will take you along a section of the stunning 630-mile Coastal Path.

The full 50km loop heads over Exmoor with some ups and downs. Take in the magnificent views with over 1,600m of climb. This is a challenge that will test spirit and determination but is totally achievable for participants with a wide range of abilities.

With 25km and 10km challenge options also available, there’s South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge for everyone – plus you can join as an individual or as a team of friends or family.

As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a hero’s welcome, a glass of fizz, an Ultra Challenge T-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.
