On Tuesday 12 November 2024 we held an informative virtual event dedicated to discussing how you can advocate for yourself with type 1 diabetes.

Living with T1D requires ongoing management, but knowing how to advocate for yourself can make the world of difference to your health and confidence, as you understand further what support you should be afforded.

This virtual event explored different ways you can ensure your voice is heard and your needs are met, whether in the workplace, when traveling, or while navigating healthcare so that you can live and thrive with T1D.
