This conference is a collaboration between the previous National Type 1 Diabetes and Eating Disorders Conference and the National Children & Young People’s Type 1 Diabetes and Difficulties/Disorders of Eating Network.
The interface between diabetes and eating disorders is growing rapidly. Intensification of diabetes management has improved outcomes for people living with diabetes but has brought with it an increased awareness of disordered eating and insulin restriction.
The conference will offer stimulating insights into cutting edge developments and clinical debates, with opportunities for clinicians from diabetes and eating disorders to meet and network. For the first time, the conference will cover both adults and children. A unique feature is the T1DE 101 workshop, which provides an introduction for those new to the field.
