Join Team Breakthrough T1D for the Great North Run 2026! This legendary half marathon sees 60,000 runners take to the streets of Newcastle, crossing the iconic Tyne Bridge and finishing in sunny South Shields.
Often referred to as the world’s biggest and best half marathon, the Great North Run is a must for any runner. Whether you’re an experienced half marathon runner, or you’re feeling inspired to take on a new challenge, the electric atmosphere on the day will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
