Join us on Saturday 14 March for an exciting in-person event focused on the latest advancements in type 1 diabetes (T1D) technology.
This session will bring together the community to provide the latest updates from local NHS experts on the use of diabetes technology across the nation as well as within the region, while creating a relaxed environment for conversations with technology companies and other members of the community on all things type 1 tech. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and connect with others!
The event will be a relaxed, interactive space for people living with T1D to see, touch, and compare different diabetes technologies in a non‑intimidating environment.
Attendees will have the chance to meet others with T1D, ask questions freely and learn directly from experts who will be on hand throughout the event to offer guidance and reassurance.
The event will be kicking off with some expert-led sessions, it’s a great opportunity to gain confidence, deepen understanding, and explore the latest devices that can help make life with type 1 a little easier.
Whether you’re curious about new devices, interested in the latest from NHS experts, or navigating your own tech journey, this event is a chance to learn, engage and be inspired by the future of T1D technology.

Throughout the day, you’ll hear from a variety of speakers, including expert healthcare professionals and individuals living with T1D, sharing their experiences.
Each session will cover a range of engaging and informative topics, including research, type 1 technology, mental and physical health, and much more.
Speakers for the day are to be confirmed, but attendees can expect an inspiring and informative lineup.
Our discovery days are centered around bringing the T1D community together. So, at this event, we will be running sessions centered on peer support.
During these sessions, you will have the opportunity to learn more about specific type 1 related topics, share your experiences within them, and connect with others who share similar interests.
