Join us on Saturday 18 April 2026 for an exciting in-person event raising awareness of Breakthrough T1D and bringing the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community together.
At the event, you can expect to receive expert advice from local healthcare professionals and the information from Breakthrough T1D on:

Throughout the day, a variety of speakers will share their lived experiences, professional expertise and the latest research advancements.
Attendees can also explore the Technology Exhibition to interact with the latest devices, seek advice on access issues and address any questions about diabetes technology.
Our discovery days are centered around bringing the T1D community together. So, at this event, we will be running sessions centered on peer support.
During these sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about specific type 1 related topics, share your experiences within them and connect with others who share similar interests.

All floors at the venue are accessible, with public lifts at the main reception. Access to the main reception and to all rooms have no steps. The venue also allows service and support dogs to attend the event. There are disabled toilets on each floor.
