It’s a virtual challenge where you run, jog, or walk 50km or 100km throughout February to help fund vital research towards a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D). Every kilometre is a tribute to the resilience of the T1D community.
From Sunday 1 to Saturday 28 February 2026.
No, it’s completely free to join.
When you sign up, you’ll get your own fundraising page to start raising lifesaving funds that helps move us closer to a cure.
It’s a virtual challenge, so you can take part anywhere! Run at home, in your local park and even abroad. Take on your kilometres at your own pace, in your own way.
Complete the quick registration form and activate your fundraiser.
You’ll also get access to our friendly Facebook Group for support and motivation.
Use whatever works best for you – a phone app, smartwatch or pedometer. As part of your fundraising pack, we’ll be sending you a tracker to jot down your distances.
No – you can spread the distance across the month however suits you. For 50km, that’s less than 2km a day. Walk it, jog it or mix it up.
Your goal (50km or 100km) is just a guide. Take it at your own pace, in your own time. Every kilometre still makes a difference.
Absolutely! The challenge is for everyone. It can be flexed to fit your routine and needs. Every kilometre counts.
