Home > London Landmarks Half Marathon cheer station volunteer
No experience is necessary. We are just looking for people who are enthusiastic about supporting Breakthrough T1D, and who aren’t afraid to get stuck in and create a fun atmosphere for our runners and their supporters.
Please note:
Date: Sunday 12 April 2026
Time: Timings for the day have not been confirmed just yet, but we typically ask volunteers to arrive around 9:30am. We will send you the exact timings once they have been confirmed by the London Landmarks team.
The cheer station will be packed down when it is clear that all Breakthrough T1D runners have run past. We anticipate this will be approximately 1pm. However, if you’re not able to stay for the full day, any amount of time you are able to provide is greatly appreciated.
Our cheer station will be just off Aldermanbury Square, next to St. Mary Aldermanbury Garden. Exact location may be subject to change if any alterations are made to the Half Marathon’s usual route.
Please note: There will be no parking in the area on the day, as most roads will be closed for the Half Marathon. However, public transport is easily accessible, and the nearest station is Moorgate (Circle, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan, Northern lines).
If you’d like to join us at our cheer station, please complete the registration form.
