We have now allocated all of our places in the Chicago Marathon 2025. Please check back later in the year for information on our places in the 2026 event.
We are so excited to have a small number of charity places in the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Part of the famous World Marathon Majors, the Chicago Marathon is a famously fast and flat course. Over the years, it has seen four world records and countless personal bests.
With over 50,000 people taking part and 1.7 million spectators cheering you on, the Chicago Marathon promises to be the experience of a lifetime!

We have now allocated all of our places in the Chicago Marathon 2025.
Please complete our Chicago Marathon application form for one of our charity places. Once we have received this, we will endeavour to come back to you with the outcome within two weeks.
Please note, we do not charge a registration fee upfront to secure your place, but you will be expected to pay a registration fee directly to the race organisers. We anticipate this will be around $250 and you will need to pay this at the point of officially registering via their online entry console.
More information will be provided by our Events Team once we have allocated you a place.

Whether you have a charity place or a ballot place, join Team Breakthrough T1D UK and you will receive the following:
*Running tops will be sent out two to three months before the event to all runners who have raised £100 or more for Breakthrough T1D.
