The route

This family-friendly challenge will follow the Llanberis Path on a 11-12 mile walk to the summit – one of the most popular routes up Snowdon.

Starting in the town of Llanberis, on the banks of Llyn Padarn, the trail is mostly at an easy gradient, allowing you to take your time and enjoy views of the surrounding hills as you make your way up towards the summit. As you reach the top, you can look back over the North Wales coastline and the Isle of Anglesey, and perhaps enjoy a summit cup of tea if the cafe is open!

The path is well-made and maintained, so is ideal for a first ascent. The walk will be led by experienced, fully-qualified mountain leaders from Large Outdoors.

What to expect

  • Fully guided walk with professional guides from Large Outdoors to ensure safety.
  • A limited edition trek medal to wear with pride.
  • First aid cover.
  • Full support with your fundraising, including tips on how to reach your targets and access to free fundraising materials.

Cost

  • Registration fee: £30 for adults, £15 for under 18s.
  • Minimum sponsorship: £300 per individual.
