The Brighton Marathon 2026 is one of the most iconic running events in the UK and you could grab your place with Team Breakthrough T1D today!
Starting in Preston Park, the Brighton Marathon takes you through the heart of the city and you can soak up all the atmosphere along the way. You’ll then run all along Brighton seafront, past the famous Palace Pier, before finishing on Hove Lawns. Here you will receive a hero’s welcome and an opportunity to enjoy the festival feel to round off an amazing weekend.
Breakthrough T1D has a limited number of charity places available.
Our friendly team are here to support you with your fundraising and can provide plenty of ideas and advice, along with free materials to help you reach your goals.
Everything you raise goes straight towards Breakthrough T1D’s life-changing research into type 1 diabetes and makes a huge difference to the 400,000 people in the UK living with type 1.

If you secure your own place with the race organisers or your running club, we’d be delighted to have you join Team Breakthrough T1D and we will support you every step of the way. You will receive all the benefits of a charity place runner – with no minimum sponsorship requirement!
Please note: This form is not for a charity place. Only use it if you have confirmation that you have a place in the Brighton Marathon from the organisers.
