About the event

A challenge event you can take on at your own pace. The Peak District Challenge invites you to walk, jog or run a distance of your choice, along a signed route, with free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage.

Get the ‘Ultra Challenge’ support and hospitality all the way – helping you to push yourself further and achieve something really special, while raising vital funds towards the next type 1 diabetes breakthrough.

Over 2,000 adventures will take on the fabulous Peak District as a walk, jog or a run. From the Bakewell basecamp, the full 100km challenge heads out past Chatsworth House and on through varied terrain on a figure of eight route. There will be a few testing climbs, but some stunning views.

With 75km, 50km, 25km and 10-mile challenge options also available, there’s a Peak District Ultra Challenge here for everyone – plus, you can join as an individual or as a team of friends/family.

As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a hero’s welcome, a glass of fizz, an Ultra Challenge T-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.
